Andy Hunter (MBA 1987)
Cranfield beckoned in 1986, 8 fun-years after graduating. Andy needed to challenge himself, and that year on the Bedfordshire Steppes completely changed his life.
After scraping through the MBA Andy joined the software/services sector with Hoskyns, but quickly decided he wasn’t a ‘big-company’ person and set up a little software business. Ultimately the business did OK, and after raising some investment, opening an office in the US and growing it to around 70 people, it was sold and now trades as Equiniti Charter.
Andy is pretty much retired now but does try and ‘keep his hand in’. He works with a marketing agency that he helped to set up and that has recently been acquired. He has also ‘put a bit back’ on an EU project helping people in business start-ups based in East Lancashire.
Andy is committed to helping the Cranfield alumni team and firmly believes that Alumni are Cranfield's greatest asset.
