Alumni Volunteering

Many Cranfield alumni have given their time, skills and energy over the years to support our students and the university’s activities, and are testament to the rewards and fulfilment that volunteering can bring.

In participating you can continue your own lifelong relationship with Cranfield, improve the experience and prospects of the current and next generation of students, and have a great impact on continued success of the University as a world-leader in management and technology.

The benefits are extremely worthwhile - at the same time as giving back to the University you can gain new skills, access student talent, promote or recruit to your company, develop your network and open new opportunities as well as gain a great sense of satisfaction.

There are myriad ways to get involved – from attending recruitment or careers fairs, advising students, speaking at an event, offering a student project in your company, to building a network and hosting events in your country.

You can read more about the many opportunities to help on our Ways to Get Involved page

Bill Shi

“My experience of volunteering has been great. For four years now I have been connecting with other alumni, organising monthly gatherings, and helping Cranfield faculty in their regional events and activities as well as speaking around about my experiences with more prospects and students. I am happy to share and advocate Cranfield as I had such a memorable experience when I was studying for my Master’s. The best thing about supporting Cranfield is that you feel part of the Cranfield family, even though you are no longer a student. This makes me feel very proud. Also, as well as helping others, I have benefited personally from new business opportunities and gaining experience and skills.”
