Two scholarship opportunities for recent Cranfield graduates are currently open for applications.

The Kennedy Scholarship

This is an academic award for study at two of the world's finest universities - Harvard and MIT. It can be used to fund a wide variety of programmes at MIT and across all the graduate schools within Harvard - from PhD to LLM, from MPH to MArch. The award offers full tuition fees, health insurance, stipend of at least $26,000, contribution towards flights and vacation travel.

Those applying for awards must be all of the following:

  • British citizens at the time of application;
  • Ordinarily resident in the UK;
  • Wholly or mainly educated in the UK
  • Graduates of a British university.

Applications cannot be accepted from those already in the United States.

The Daiwa Scholarship

This is a unique 19-month programme of language study, work placement and homestay in Japan, following a month of Japanese language tuition in the UK. Daiwa Scholarships offer young and talented UK citizens with strong leadership potential, the opportunity to acquire Japanese language skills, and to access expertise and knowledge relevant to their career goals.

No previous experience of Japan or Japanese is necessary.
