Festival of Flight - Saturday 17 September 2016

We’re celebrating our 70th anniversary with a ‘Festival of Flight’ on Saturday 17 September and invite you to join us for this exciting event. The Festival is divided into two parts - morning and afternoon, both of which are suitable for the whole family.
Open Doors (free to attend)
In the morning we will celebrate our heritage and showcase our world-changing research through a combination of tours, interactive demonstrations and displays, exhibits and presentations.
Air Display (charges apply)
In the afternoon, to celebrate 70 years of innovation in aerospace there will be an air display and static aircraft exhibition, demonstrating aircraft connected to Cranfield's heritage. There'll also be additional activities including fairground attractions; face painting; crafts and food outlets.
Advanced tickets for alumni
Alumni will have the opportunity to purchase tickets before they are released on sale to the general public.
Tickets are limited and available on a first served basis. To make sure you get yours please register online to receive alerts as soon as tickets are available.
