Hosted by Grant Thornton UK LLP, join our next breakfast presentation with Sir Charlie Mayfield (MBA 1992), former Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership and Professor Emma Parry, Professor and Director of People, Skills and Leadership. Together they will explore the findings of the Keep Britain Working initiative through a thought-provoking discussion that brings together perspectives from research, policy and business.
The conversation will examine the key factors contributing to people leaving the workforce due to ill health, the role employers can play in supporting workforce wellbeing, and the actions needed to create healthier, more sustainable careers. The discussion will also consider practical solutions to some of today’s most pressing workforce challenges, including supporting older workers, responding to rising mental health concerns among younger employees, making better use of workforce health data, and strengthening collaboration between employers, government, and health services.
The session will conclude with an interactive audience Q&A, offering attendees the opportunity to share their perspectives and engage directly with the speakers. Attendees can expect valuable insights and practical takeaways to help organisations build healthier, more resilient workforces and support people to remain in, and thrive at, work throughout their careers.
