Cranfield College of Aeronautics Alumni Association (CCAAA), Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The meeting will be held via MS Teams between 1530 and 1630 on Wednesday 16 June 2021. If you’d like to attend this meeting then please contact CCAAA Honorary Secretary Jack Stockford (j.a.stockfrod@cranfield.ac.uk) who will forward you a joining link.

CCAAA Background

The CCAAA represents Cranfield alumni, students and staff involved in the technology and management of aerospace and aviation. It exists to promote wider interest in aerospace and aviation activity in general and Cranfield in particular.

The CCAAA can trace its history back to 1946 when Cranfield was established. Students formed The Cranfield Society and its members have included many famous names, such as John Fozard (Chief Engineer of the Hawker/BAe Harrier VTOL aircraft) and Alan Brown (Chief Engineer of the Lockheed F117 stealth fighter). In 2001 the Cranfield Society was relaunched as the Cranfield College of Aeronautics Alumni Association bringing together all aerospace and aviation activity in the University.

The aims of the Association are:

  • To promote and maintain effective communication between the members and the University
  • To provide network opportunities for the members to meet socially and continue business awareness and development through a variety of events
  • To provide links with the aerospace and aviation industry

CCAAA Membership

If you are studying or have in the past studied any aerospace or aviation related subject at Cranfield then you are a de-facto member of the CCAAA. Similarly if you are a member of staff at Cranfield with links to aerospace or aviation then you too are a member.
