Manufacturing Alumni Award Winners 2019

In May we hosted our annual Manufacturing Alumni Awards Dinner and Lecture. At Cranfield University our world-class and niche research, education, training and consultancy in manufacturing plays a key role in ensuring that the UK remains at the cutting edge of manufacturing research.

Our unique multi-disciplinary approach brings together design, technology and management insight which means we can make a fundamental and lasting difference to product development, materials’ technologies, and manufacturing processes within the UK and around the world.  This, together with our unique facilities and strong industry partnerships, allow us to provide a first-class educational experience to our students who will go on to become future leaders in manufacturing, and actively address some of the real business challenges in manufacturing today.

During the evening we were delighted to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our manufacturing alumni through the Distinguished Manufacturing Alumnus Award and the Excellence in Achievement Award for Recent Manufacturing Graduates. Each of our prize winners tonight thoroughly deserves our congratulations and we acknowledge also the partners, family, friends and colleagues who have supported them over the years and played a role in their success.

Our 2019 award winners are outstanding in their fields, but we are immensely proud of all our alumni who are making a difference in their organisations and communities, forming part of a network of over 60,000 alumni from 170 nations around the world.
