Professor Phil Hart, Director of Energy and Power, member of the Senior Management team
Professor Phil Hart joined Cranfield as Director of Energy and Power on 20 August 2018. Phil knows the University well having earned his MSc in Marine Technology and his PhD in subsea welding from Cranfield. He has held a series of senior roles within the energy and power sector in the UK, Asia and North America as an engineering director, chief technology officer and chief operating officer and president.
Samina Masood, International Partnerships Manager at Cranfield University
Samina currently looks after Cranfield University’s business engagement and interests in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey; with expertise of working in the BRIC and MINT economies. In her current role Samina develops business across the wide range of teaching; training and research programmes that are offered by Cranfield University. Her understanding of business engagement in the region has brought business success to the University by becoming a recognised training provider for a number of organisation in academia; public and private sectors. Samina’s extensive experience of working in the region enables our relevant teams to provide the best solution to our clients whether they are HR or training departments, universities looking for faculty development programmes or setting up of collaborative research or working with funding bodies.
